Minted and Vintage’s 2nd Anniversary Dessert Table!

So I celebrated the 2nd anniversary of my wonderful cake stand rental company by whipping up THIS yummy and whimsical dessert table! While I adore our very first (and original) Minted and Vintage dessert table I felt it would only be appropriate to create a brand new one to celebrate our 2nd year in business!

For this dessert table, I enlisted the help of some awesome industry peeps I’v e admired! Rainy of Circa Vintage Rentals provided an awesome table and wood divider backdrop. The ladies over at Paper Fox LA made the prettiest tissue paper garland in yummy Minted and Vintage colors. Mallory from The French Confection Co. made all of the pretty cakes, French macarons, and petit fours. Candace of Silence of the Lens came in on our actual birthday to shoot all the pretty details of the table!

I ended up baking a few things myself as well! I made regular and mini sized donuts with the Wilton donut pan I purchased at Michaels, dipped them in colored sugar glaze and topped them off with sprinkles. I also made custom cake stand and dome (part of our logo) cookies and iced them a la Jenny Cookies, they were super easy to make and turned out super cute!

I DIY’d the cake stand & dome piñata, and the geometric garland (thank you Joyce!). I just wanted everything to look like a big part-ay and well you can’t go wrong with a piñata, tissue tassels, honeycomb decorations, and some pretty cake stands, RIGHT?

Some of my latest favorite pieces graced this table…raspberry pink trellis cake stand, vintage flared & fluted bon bon dish, vintage aqua tidbit tray, vintage aqua cake stand, round gold vanity tray, tarnished silver cake stand, vintage pink compote, vintage hobnail compote, strawberry creme bon bon cake stand, our classic cake stands in strawberry milk and mint milk, and of course our pretty custom pedestals!

I LOVED how this table turned out! It’s proof to me that you definitely can mix old with new and be as all over the place or as themed as you want it to be…as long as it reflects YOU! This my friends is what Minted and Vintage is all about. Hope you’ve been inspired!
