The Cream Event Los Angeles 2013

22nd April 2013

Hey ya’ll! So I’m back to share amazing photos of the dessert table I set up at The Cream!

Since the color theme was emerald green, deep navy blue, mint, with touches of ivory and wood, I rounded up emerald green square glass cake stands, mint milk classic cake stands, small glass domes, vintage emerald green trays and bowls, gold glittered & emerald plate pedestals, gold glittered vintage compotes, and gold glittered hobnail cake stands. I decided to tie in the wood from the wooden table from Found and bring in the navy and ivory in some of the sweets and the fabric tassel garland I made to dress up the already awesome table.

For the desserts, I contacted my trusty team of the sweetest gals that I have worked with in the past. Each one does an amazing job with their speciality sweets so I am always reaching out to them when I have to set up dessert tables. On the table we had a variety of mini cupcakes (vanilla dulce de leche, blueberry lemon, and triple chocolate) and ivory and mint cake pops sprinkled with edible gold glitter by the lovely Melanie of Melrose Baking and Party Decor, French macaron towers, chocolate dipped and gold sprinkled macarons by the wonderful Katie of Le Pop Shop, and a delicious variety of Brazilian brigadeiros in the yummiest flavors (pistachio, milk chocolate, coconut, dark chocolate, and my fave Caipirinha) by my friend Sabrina of Simply Brigadeiro!

The glittered cakes were made by yours truly using styrofoam, craft paint, and tinsel glitter, yes, they were fake! My favorite part of those cakes were the gold mirrored acrylic cake toppers that were laser cut by Haryn at The Laser Cutting Shop!

I set up the desserts on the Fiona black table from Found Rentals. I also used Founds Ruby Cabinet and the Hartison Cream Cabinet to display a few cake stands, pedestals, plates, bowls, and compotes for all The Cream guests to see! Founds Adele Cream Side Tables were the perfect pieces to place my lovely brochures, postcards, and business cards that I got printed at Polydot Printing (the best printer in town)!

The pretty floral arrangements you see in my cake stand displays were provided by Primary Petals.

If you love all of the pieces I had displayed on the table they are now available for rent! Contact me to reserve them for your wedding and event!
